The Create New section at the top contains shortcuts to common tasks such as creating a new exploration or a new dashboard.

The Objects list at the bottom displays a list of all the objects you have access to, providing quick access to open any of them. The search box above the list also enables you to search for specific objects.

Search
You can access the search feature directly from the home page or from the left navigation panel - it looks like a magnifying glass and is accessible from wherever you are on the platform. Using this feature, you can search for anything by just typing in a keyword.

When you click on the search feature, a window opens. Here, you can either type in the words for your search or you can choose one of the shortcuts - Create new dashboard and Create new exploration. NetSpring also allows users to search through documentation if required. The Search window can also be opened using the Cmd+K or Ctrl+K keyboard shortcut.

Sorting and Filtering
- You can sort views on the home page using the Sort by drop-down. Options include sorting by Most Popular, Recently Viewed, Name (A→Z), Created By (A→Z), and more. All sections inside NetSpring (Explorations, Dashboards, Collections, Derived Columns, Metrics, and Catalog) allow users to sort the list views inside each section. The lists are sorted by default based on the Updated At column and this can be changed using the arrows next to each property in the list. Clicking the up arrow sorts the list in ascending order and clicking the down arrow sorts it in descending order.
- You can also filter by object type right from the homepage, giving you the flexibility to focus on what matters most—whether it’s diving into dashboards, setting up cohorts, or building explorations.

To open an exploration or any other feature in a new tab, you can use the following shortcut:
- Control + Click (if you are a Windows user)
- Command + Click (if you are a MacOS user)
